Meditation
technique. Please read on for information on
meditation technique.
Firstly, you need to acknowledge
that it is important to spend time with yourself.
It is natural and normal.
Finding your own personal space is your next step, somewhere you will be comfortable
sitting or lying and not be disturbed. If you are lying down and find you are
sleeping please practice sitting until you get used to it.
Now meditation (and meditation technique)
does not have to be hard, you can start with 5 minutes
if you like. Try this out. Close your eyes
and follow your breath down into your body. Follow
it in and out for a minute or so and then take a
couple of long, slow deep breaths, in and out. Once
you've done this, imagine yourself sitting on a secluded
beach, or in the country sitting under a tree. "So
simple".
Another good meditation technique
is to imagine a line running down your body, breath
down this line and affirm LET on your in breath and
GO on your out breath.
Now when your thoughts wander away,
because they will, keep coming back to that peaceful
place or the line down your body, and when you do,
notice how your mind and physical body feels. Relaxed
and relieved.
Meditation
Technique - Resting Your Mind
You're resting your mind from
working a hundred miles an hour. Your mind is
normally on the go, worrying about how to do
this or how to do that, worrying about what you
said or did yesterday, or how you're going to
get everything done tomorrow, wondering how you
are going to fix this or that and the list goes
on, the kids, the mortgage, work etc.
I produced the Beautifully guided meditation CD series
after a decade of meditating. I have practiced different
many a different meditation technique finding visualisation,
imagery the most enjoyable and profound, therefore, recording meditations on
the CDs, which have been and still are most valuable to me and my wellbeing.
Remember the more you practice the better you become with your meditation
technique.
